T-Ball has finally come to an end. Boy, did we have fun (minus the rather rainy spring we have been having.) Last Saturday the team met at the park for a potluck and awards ceremony.
As Ben sat with his team you could feel the anticipation of receiving a trophy. This was exciting stuff for a 5 year old. 
When his name was finally called he reached up to grab his tophy with eagerness. He couldn't wait to get his hands on his VERY FIRST TROPHY!
"Look Mom! It's mine!"
He was, and still is, VERY PROUD of his trophy. Every visitor we have had to the house has been rushed over to the 'special spot' to view his award. Very sweet.
We are proud of you, Ben! You worked hard and played well.
