Our sweet little girl turned 6 in December and although her birthday lands right smack-dab in the middle of the crazy holiday season, we decided to throw her a tea party. A pink, frilly, puff-ball tea party...
We made her sit in the back room as we got the party set-up so when she made her grand entrance, she was quite surprised and excited! We caught her initial reaction on camera...priceless!
Once her friends started to arrive in their pretty party dresses, the festivities began.
First stop, the chalkboard wall for some photos with the birthday girl...
Second stop...the craft table where we had to get "dressed" for the tea party. Each girl made a cute bracelet and they "dressed up their lips" with lip gloss :) Little girl heaven!
Third stop...the tea party where we served mini cupcakes, brownie bites, crackers & cheese, nuts, hot chocolate and lemonade. YUM! The girls had a very special server named "Butler Bob" (AKA...DAD) who literally had the girls rolling with laughter! He was the hit of the party!
This is my favorite photo from the day! You can see the love Megan has for her Daddy just radiating from her face. So sweet!
Last stop...party games and presents!
In my humble opinion, every little girl should have a tea party at least once in her lifetime and I do believe our little princess enjoyed hers.
Happy Birthday, Miss Meg!
